1. Acceptance
CineDraft is operated by Quiet Craft. By creating an account or using the website, iOS app, or any related service (the “App”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Your Account
You must be at least 13 years old to use CineDraft. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. If you suspect unauthorized use, contact us immediately.
3. User Content
You retain ownership of the reviews, thoughts, lists, and other content you create. By posting, you grant CineDraft a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, and transmit your content as necessary to operate the App.
You're responsible for what you share. Don't post content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes anyone's rights. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms or our community guidelines.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App to harass, threaten, or harm other users
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or to our systems
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute App data without permission
- Use the App for any illegal purpose
5. Fantasy Leagues
CineDraft fantasy leagues are for entertainment only. We do not facilitate gambling, prize awards, or monetary stakes. League scoring is based on third-party film ratings and is provided without warranty of accuracy or availability.
6. Third-Party Services
CineDraft integrates with third-party services including Firebase (authentication, database, push notifications), TMDB (film data and imagery), Letterboxd, IMDb, and MDBList (rating data), and Apple/Google authentication providers. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
7. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice depending on severity.
8. Disclaimers
CineDraft is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or the accuracy of film data sourced from third parties.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quiet Craft and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of CineDraft.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms periodically. When we make material changes, we'll update the “Last updated” date and may notify you in the App. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
