Everything about this movie is exquisite. The subtlety of the acting often communicates layers of coexisting hope, despair, shame, and longing. The amount communicated between actors simply via looks hits the gut almost more than the times language is used. I would like every actor in this movie to win an award. These aren’t Oscar roles, so they likely won’t. The brilliance is in the subtlety, nuance, and power of listening which isn’t to the Oscars taste. Or at least it never tops emotionally demonstrative roles when it comes to winners. I highly recommend watching this film!!
