

Abdelbadie El Araby
ActorAn Egyptian actor, born on July 22, 1912, to a middle-class rural family in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate. He obtained his baccalaureate from Khedive Ismail School in 1938, and worked in the Forensic Medicine Authority for a salary of seven pounds. He also worked at the Ministry of Education. Abdel Badie contributed to the establishment of the Military Theater and starred in several plays, including "Failed," "The Confession Chair," "Country Girls," "Bayoumi Effendi," and "Hassan and Naima." He also appeared in numerous television series, the most famous of which is "Ghawish," starring Nabil El-Halfawy and Safaa Abu El-Saud. His most notable film is "Shame," in which he played the role of a drug dealer father. He is the father of actors Mohamed El-Araby and Wagdy El-Araby, as well as media figures Camelia El-Araby and Olfat El-Araby. He passed away on June 26, 1996.
