Kianush Ayyari

Born in Ahvaz in 1951, Ayyari began his film career in 1970 when he joined the Free Cinema Group in his hometown, and soon made a name for himself in this experimental trend of amateur cinema. Kianush Ayyari made several 8mm short films, including Rain of Dust.
